Ingredients

  • Chicken Wings – I used pre-cut chicken wings, but you can buy whole chicken wings and cut them.
  • Garlic Parmesan Sauce – I used Sweet Baby Ray’s Garlic Parmesan Sauce. I’ve been on the hunt for Buffalo Wild Wings garlic parmesan sauce, but I’ve been striking out.

✳️ Tips & Tricks

  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure that your chicken wings are fully cooked. The internal temperature should reach 165°F.
  • Depending on the size of the wings, the cooking time may need to change. Mine were on the smaller side.
  • Don’t overcrowd your air fryer basket. Leave some space between the wings to allow for proper airflow, which will help them cook evenly.
  • I love buying chicken wings pre-cut so I don’t slice my finger again.

Tools to make this Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings in Air Fryer

  • Cosori Air Fryer – this is my favorite air fryer. The large air fryer basket makes it so easy to cook your favorite recipes.
  • Tongs – tongs are easiest to remove and flip the chicken tenders
  • Meat thermometer – You always want to ensure the internal temperature of ANY chicken is 165F.

How to Make Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings

  1. Transfer the chicken wings into a ziplock bag. Add in the garlic parmesan sauce.
  2. Remove the air from the bag and toss the chicken around to coat the wings evenly.
  3. Remove the chicken from the bag and place them inside the air fryer basket.
  4. Cook at 390F for 20 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
  5. Once the timer goes off, ensure the chicken wings’ internal temperature is 165F before serving.
  6. Drizzle extra sauce on top.
  7. Remove and serve.

Oven Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375F.
  2. Transfer the chicken wings into a ziplock bag. Add in the sauce.
  3. Remove the air from the bag and toss the chicken around.
  4. Remove the chicken from the bag and place them on a cooking sheet.
  5. Cook for 30 minutes flipping halfway through.
  6. Once the timer goes off make sure the internal temperature is 165F.
  7. Drizzle extra sauce on top.
  8. Remove and serve.

Substitutions

These wings are perfect for serving as an appetizer. Serve them with a batch of ranch dressing using my Homemade Ranch Seasoning. You can also serve these with carrot sticks, celery, and a delicious blue cheese dipping sauce.

How to store

Store leftovers in an airtight glass container for up to 5 days.

Remove the lid from the container and microwave on high for 1 to 1.5 minutes or until the chicken is warm. Alternatively, you can transfer to a microwave save plate to warm up.

To warm this up in your air fryer, cook it for 2-3 minutes at 400F.

  1. I would have tried it but you left out part of it… you reference to put garlic parm sauce over chicken in a ziplock bag. You don’t provide ingredients for said sauce.

    1. Hi Denise, in the recipe card I stated that I used 1/2 cup Sweet Baby Rays Garlic Parmesan since I wanted a super easy recipe. Under the substitution section of the post I added a link to a recipe if you wanted to make a homemade wing sauce to toss them in. I hope this helps.
