I love making chicken thighs in my air fryer. This super simple recipe is perfect for everyone.
Chicken Thighs have to be one of my favorites! My freezer is stocked with frozen chicken thighs. Do Good Chicken was kind enough to send me some chicken thighs and chicken tenders, and boy were they amazing!
Do Good Chicken has no antibiotics. The Chickens are 100% natural and cage-free! They are also hatched, raised, and harvested here in the United States.
These chicken thighs are simply seasoned, but pack a lot of flavor. Perfect for on top of salads, to meal prep, or as part of a healthy dinner.

- Do Good Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
- Avocado oil
- Fresh Garlic
- Seasonings: salt, herbes de Provence, and black pepper.

To ensure that the chicken stays moist is to check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer. Once they reach 165F, remove them from the air fryer. Don’t overcook.
Tools to make this easy chicken thigh recipe in the air fryer

- Tongs – tongs are easiest to remove and flip the chicken drumsticks
- Meat thermometer – You always want to make sure the internal temperature of ANY chicken 165F.
How to make Air Fryer Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs in the Air Fryer
- Remove the chicken thighs from the package and place them inside a ziplock bag.
- Pour the avocado oil over them and toss the chicken around.
- Then place your seasoning into the bag and close. Make sure you remove the air from the bag.
- Toss the chicken around so it gets coated in the seasoning.
- Transfer the chicken to the air fryer basket and cook at 390F for 14 minutes flipping halfway through.
- Once the timer goes off make sure the internal temperate is 165F. Remove and serve.















Oven Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400F.
- Remove the chicken thighs from the package and place them inside a ziplock bag.
- Pour the avocado oil over them and toss the chicken around.
- Then place your seasoning into the bag and close. Make sure you remove the air from the bag.
- Toss the chicken around so it gets coated in the seasoning.
- Transfer the chicken thighs to a baking pan and place inside the oven.
- Cook the chicken thighs for 20 minutes.
- Once the timer goes off remove the chicken from the oven and serve.
Substitutions
If you don’t have boneless skinless chicken thighs, you can use bone-in chicken thighs instead. You will just have to add a few more minutes to the cooking time.
You can use Italian Seasoning instead of herbes de Provence. The flavor profile will be similar, but not the same.
If you don’t have avocado oil, you can use any other high heat oil.



What to serve with Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
I paired these chicken thighs with some Air Fryer French Fries. If I am going for a healthier option, something like these Air Fryer Vegetables will do the trick. The vegetables are also a perfect fit if you are looking to meal prep.
I love to make this Cauliflower Pasta and throw my chicken thighs on top of it. Comes out perfect every time.

How to store
- Store leftovers in an airtight glass container for up to 4-5 days.

Remove the lid from the container and microwave on high for 1 to 1.5 minutes or until chicken is warm. Alternatively you can transfer to a microwave save plate to warm up.
If you want to warm this up in your air fryer, cook it for 2-3 minutes at 400F.

You can if that’s your preferred way of cooking chicken. You may need to add some extra time. And if you chicken has skin, you may want to remove the foil for a bit of the cooking so it can get nice and crispy.
How do you keep chicken air fryer from being rubbery?
Just follow the instruction and at the last minute of cooking chicken the internal temperature needs to be 165F.
