Air Fryer Trader Joe’s Chicken Spring Rolls
Air fryer chicken spring rolls are a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional fried spring rolls. In my monthly run to Trader Joe’s, I had to pick up multiple boxes of these Trader Joe’s Chicken Spring Rolls. They were super affordable for my household of two.
Frozen chicken spring rolls are a delicious and convenient snack or meal option that can be found in most grocery stores. While they can be cooked in the oven or on the stove, using an air fryer is a quick and easy way to achieve a crispy, golden-brown exterior without the need for excess oil.
Plus, the air fryer allows for a faster cooking time, making it a great option for busy weeknights or last-minute appetizers.
Based on the popular Taiwanese “3 Cup Chicken” dish, these Chicken Spring Rolls feature chunks of white meat chicken, cabbage, carrots, and green onion. Cooked with plentiful basil, garlic, and ginger. Simmered with soy sauce, sesame oil, rice wine, and chili paste. The finished filling is carefully tucked into a wheat flour wrapper.
One of the highlights of frozen chicken spring rolls is their crispy texture. When cooked properly, the outer layer becomes golden brown and crispy, providing a satisfying crunch with every bite. This textural contrast between the crispy shell and the tender filling can be quite enjoyable.
