Chicken thighs are slowly starting to be my favorite piece of chicken. They are always packed full of flavor and super juicy! You’ll love these chicken thighs paired with my Homemade Teriyaki Sauce

- Boneless skinless chicken thighs – I like to use boneless skinless chicken thighs but you can always use bone-in chicken thighs instead. And don’t forget to save the bones to make bone broth or chicken stock!
- Homemade Teriyaki Sauce– This teriyaki sauce is perfect for any chicken recipe. You can even make a large batch and store the extras in the refrigerator.

To ensure that the chicken stays moist is to check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer. Once they reach 165F, remove them from the air fryer. Don’t overcook.

- Meat Thermometer – to ensure the internal temperature of the chicken thighs reaches 165F.
How to make Air Fryer Teriyaki Chicken Thighs
- In a medium mixing bowl place your chicken thighs. Add in your teriyaki sauce and mix together.
- Transfer the coated chicken thighs to the air fryer basket. Make sure the chicken thighs don’t over lap each other.
- Cook the chicken thighs at 390F for 18 minutes. Flipping halfway through. Or until the internal temperature is 165F.
- Remove the chicken thighs from the air fryer basket and serve with your favorite kind of rice.




Oven Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400F.
- In a medium mixing bowl add your chicken thighs and teriyaki sauce. Mix them together.
- Transfer the chicken thighs to a baking pan and place inside the oven.
- Cook the chicken thighs for 20 minutes.
- Once timer goes off remove the chicken from the oven.
- Serve with your favorite rice!
Substitutions
If you don’t have boneless skinless chicken thighs, you can use bone-in chicken thighs instead. You will just have to add a few more minutes to the cooking time.

What to serve with Teriyaki Chicken Thighs
With these chicken thighs, you can make your Asian inspired rice bowl. Just make some of your favorite rice and whip up your own Stir Fry Vegetables. You are good to go! Top them with sliced green onions if you’re feeling fancy.
