One thing I like about Trader Joe’s is their selection of chicken sausages. Most stores only have the basic chicken sausages, but Trader Joe’s have Breakfast Chicken Sausages, Regular Chicken Sausages, Cheddar Chicken Sausages, and Sweet Apple Chicken Sausages.

- If you want a crispy hot dog bun, add the chicken sausage to the buns and cook for another 2 minutes.

- Remove the chicken sausage from the package.
- Transfer to the air fryer basket. Cook at 390F for 6 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Once the timer goes off, ensure the chicken’s internal temperature is 165F and remove it from the air fryer basket.
- Serve and enjoy!

- Remove the chicken sausage from the package and transfer to a baking tray.
- Place a baking tray in the oven and cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through. Make sure the internal temperature is 165F.
- Remove from the oven and serve.

If you don’t like jalapeno chicken sausages, you can use Sweet Apple Chicken Sausages, regular Chicken Sausages, or Cheddar Chicken Sausages.

Trader Joe’s Air Fryer Jalapeno Chicken Sausages are versatile and can be served with potato chips or French fries. Another of my favorite things is cutting the chicken sausages up and throwing them into Mac and cheese.
How to store
- Store leftovers in an airtight glass container for up to 5 days.

Remove the lid from the container and microwave on high for 1 to 1.5 minutes or until the chicken is warm. Alternatively, you can transfer to a microwave save plate to warm up.
To warm this up in your air fryer, cook it for 2-3 minutes at 400F.
