These Air Fryer Chicken Meatballs are super easy to make and extremely juicy! They’re great for an easy weeknight dinner. Perfect alternative if you don’t like beef or turkey and want to make meatballs.
Air Fryer Chicken Meatballs
These chicken meatballs are a game changer. They didn’t last in our house for more than ten minutes!
They are good by themselves – seriously, this is how we ate most of them just with a fork and dipping them in spaghetti sauce, or make a dinner with them by adding in your favorite pasta! When making pasta I always make my chicken meatballs in the air fryer.
Or make a meatball sub, meatball casserole, or a meatball appetizer!

❤️ Why you’ll love this easy air fryer recipe
- Budget Friendly- The ground chicken was less than $5.00, typically, I get it at Aldi’s, but it’s been hard to find. I ended up finding it at Trader Joe’s.
- Quick & Easy Recipe – these meatballs only take 12 minutes to cook, and the process of making them is super easy!
- Versatile – whether you want to make a snack, dinner, or appetizer, these air fryer chicken meatballs have you covered.
Ingredients
- Ground chicken – I hadn’t been able to find ground chicken for a few weeks, and this was the first recipe that came to mind to make with it!
- Egg – large eggs, and I try to get local or free-range when available
- Grated parmesan – I used the shelf-stable kind, but you can also use fresh grated parmesan cheese as well.
- Panko bread crumbs – I feel like choosing panko bread crumbs instead of regular or Italian bread crumbs made this recipe so much better! I feel like they held in more moisture and made them juicy and not dried out!
- Avocado oil – this has become my go-to oil, especially for cooking. I try and reserve olive oil for making salad dressings or, on occasion cooking at really low heat.
- Seasoning: this recipe is simply seasoned with salt & black pepper. If you want to you can always add fresh herbs like parsley and basil or add dried herbs like Italian seasoning or dried basil and dried parsley.
✳️ Tips & Tricks
If you’re trying to reduce the fat content of this recipe, you can omit the avocado oil. The avocado oil just helps to ensure the chicken meatballs don’t dry out.
