These chicken leg quarters are super easy and delicious! The Chicken Dry Rub Seasoning has been the go-to seasoning in our household. As soon as these bad boys came out of the air fryer, I was all over them.
You’ll absolutely love the delicious crispy chicken skin.

- Chicken leg quarters- You can also use chicken legs or chicken thighs if you want smaller pieces.

- Once the timer goes off on the air fryer, ensure the internal temperature is 165F.
- You always want to remove the chicken immediately to ensure you don’t dry out the chicken.
- After you sprinkle the dry rub seasoning on the chicken, you can use your hand and pat the seasoning into the chicken legs.

- Meat thermometer – You always want to ensure the internal temperature of ANY chicken is 165F.
How to make Chicken Leg Quarters in the Air Fryer
- Take a tablespoon of my chicken dry rub seasoning and sprinkle it onto the top of the leg quarters.
- Use your palm to press the dry rub seasoning into the chicken.
- Transfer the chicken leg quarters into the air fryer basket.
- Cook at 390F for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Once the chicken reaches the internal temperature of 165F, remove it from the air fryer basket.
- Wait 5 minutes before cutting. Serve and enjoy with your favorite sides.
Baking Directions
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Season the chicken, pat the dry rub seasoning into the chicken.
- Line a cooking sheet with alumni foil and place chicken legs on top.
- Transfer to the oven and cook for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Once the chicken reaches 165F, remove it from the oven and serve.
You may also make broiled chicken leg quarters in the oven.
Substitutions
If you don’t want the whole chicken leg quarter, you substitute for chicken thighs or chicken legs.

How to store
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

Remove the lid from the container and microwave on high for 1 to 1.5 minutes or until the chicken is warm. Alternatively, you can transfer to a microwave save plate to warm up.
To warm this up in your air fryer, cook it for 2-3 minutes at 400F.
