Air Fryer Trader Joe’s Chicken Breakfast Sausage

Trader Joe’s Chicken Sausage is my favorite go-to for breakfast items. They’re super quick and easy to make in the air fryer.

One of my favorite things to pair with this chicken breakfast sausage is these Eggs Over Hard,they are super easy to make and are prefect for that healthy breakfast!

I enjoyed the full-size Trader Joe’s Chicken Sausages were a big hit so I had to get my hands on the breakfast sausage version.

To ensure that the chicken stays moist, check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer. Once they reach 165F, remove them from the air fryer. Don’t overcook the chicken sausage.

  • Meat thermometer – You always want to make sure the internal temperature of ANY chicken 165F.

How to make Air Fryer Trader Joe’s Chicken Breakfast Sausage

  1. Remove the sausage from the container and transfer to the air fryer basket.
  2. Cook at 390F for 8 minutes. Flipping halfway though.
  3. Once the timer goes off. Make sure the internal temperature is 165F. Remove and serve.

  1. Preheat the oven to 400F.
  2. Transfer the chicken sausage to a cooking sheet.
  3. Place the cooking sheet in the oven and cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Once the timer goes off, make sure the internal temperature is 165F.
  5. Remove and serve.

Should you thaw breakfast sausage before cooking?

You can thaw out the breakfast sausages beforehand but it is not necessary to do so. Cooking frozen chicken breakfast sausage just takes a few minutes longer to cook.
